The largest restaurant wine list in London belongs to The Connaught: about 2,770 wines, shared by Hélène Darroze at The Connaught and Jean-Georges at The Connaught. Next come Claridge's Restaurant and Dante Mayfair (one shared list, 2,092 wines), Clos Maggiore (2,010), Noble Rot Mayfair (1,868) and Dorian (1,553).
"Best" depends on what you want from a list: size, fair prices, a speciality or a long by-the-glass selection. This guide measures each of these across the 240 London restaurant wine lists ELID currently publishes. All the lists were captured from July 2026 onwards. Each restaurant links to its full list on ELID, with prices, the date it was captured and its source.

How this was measured
- Lists. The 240 London restaurant wine lists published on ELID as of 18 October 2026, each captured from July 2026 onwards. Lists change often, so check each restaurant's ELID page for its capture date and source.
- Wines counts every wine entry, including still, sparkling, rosé, orange, sweet and fortified wines, with by-the-glass entries. Spirits, beer, cocktails and cider are excluded. Identical duplicate entries are counted once.
- Bottle prices use 750 ml entries priced in pounds sterling. Entries under £18 are excluded, because they are usually glass prices recorded without a size. Median bottle prices are shown only for lists with enough priced bottles.
- Specialities use the country and region each list gives for the wine. Restaurants that publish the same cellar list are counted once. The wines London lists agree on uses ELID's matched wine identities across the same lists, at the confidence threshold ELID's restaurant pages use.
- No quality ranking. This guide measures size, price and focus. It does not rank quality.
