Production Details Old Vines Chenin Blanc from Piekenierskloof made in partnership with Potgieter Van Zyl from Bergendal in the Piekenierskloof Mountain of Citrusdal. Fruit came from a mature 57-year-old vineyard grown at 700 meters above sea level on decomposed granite soils. The grapes were picked at the beginning of February. In the winery the fruit was whole-bunch pressed to concrete egg, with natural fermentation that started slowly and completed in 14 days. The wine then spent 8 months in concrete egg before bottling with minimum intervention.
