Production Details Grapes were handpicked and dried in the sun for 2 weeks. Fermentation took place in 2nd- and 3rd-fill French oak barrels. The old-vine bush-vine vineyard on Arbeideind (Basie van Lill) is part of the Old Vine Project, with vines 35+ years old. The fruit was pressed twice, sugar increased by up to 20 balling during drying, the wine was left to settle naturally, then stabilized, filtered and bottled.
