Production Details Each year, the finest Sauvignon Blanc parcels are selected, with a portion fermented and matured in 500L French oak barrels. Only the best of these barrels are selected for Lomond's Seven Rows range. The 2024 Ben Nevis is a blend of the finest barrels from Single Vineyard Pincushion and Sugarbush Sauvignon Blanc. Grapes are gently pressed, with clear juice racked for fermentation. Fermentation begins in stainless steel, and once active, a portion is transferred to 500L French oak barrels to complete fermentation and mature for eight months under temperature-controlled conditions. The barrel age is 25% 2nd fill, 45% 3rd fill and 30% 4th fill barrels.
