Production Details The 2022 Morgon is a blend of multiple Morgon parcels with massal-selection Gamay vines aged 40–108 years. The producer-authored sheet describes 15 hectares of certified-organic vines, manual harvesting with careful sorting, maturation for approximately nine months, and an unfiltered, very lightly sulfited bottling. Sources disagree on maceration duration: the technical sheet states 10–21 days of semi-carbonic maceration without added SO2 or yeast, while the producer quotation published by RVF states 12–25 days of carbonic maceration with indigenous yeasts. The conflict is retained, and neither range nor the approximate maturation period is converted to a numeric days field.
Tasting Notes La Revue du vin de France: intense black fruit, a tangy structure, a generous finish and overall balance.
