Production Details Vine density is 10,000 vines/ha and the Pinot Noir is on 161-49 rootstock. Sorted whole bunches were vinified without SO2, with twice-daily punchdowns for 2.5 weeks and alcoholic fermentation using indigenous yeasts. Malolactic fermentation took place in Burgundy pièces. The wine then spent 18 months on its lees in pièces under reductive conditions, without racking, with remuage and without SO2.
Tasting Notes Floral, including rose and violet; forceful yet elegant, with good structure and a silky, savory, delicate profile suited to aging.
