Production Details The 2023 grapes were hand harvested and fully destemmed, followed by spontaneous fermentation in wooden vats and malolactic fermentation. Barrel maturation is reported as 15–22 months. Lobenberg reports 50% new wood for this vintage, while the importer-derived specification gives a broader 30–65% new-barrel range; these oak figures are retained as a source conflict rather than normalized. Bottling is without fining, with filtration used only sometimes.
Tasting Notes Deep purple with a black center; powerful dark fruit, substantial structure and plump fruit on the finish.
