Production Details The rosé was made by marrying red wine from Bouzy with the classic Louise blend from Avize, Cramant and Aÿ, followed by years of cellar maturation. The producer recommends serving at 8–10°C.
Tasting Notes Intense peach and rose-gold colour; wild strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, light spice and garrigue aromas; fresh, balanced and fine, with gentle sweetness and a supple, elegant finish.
Food Pairing Pink-cooked duck breast; lobster with Bellevue sauce.

Production Details The 1999 season was unusually hot and wet, with hail between May and September but excellent grape maturity. Fruit for Cuvée Louise was picked rapidly at the very start of the harvest; the component wines were then vinified, blended and matured for many years in the cellars.
Tasting Notes Pale salmon-pink with orange highlights and fine effervescence; delicate citrus and mineral Chardonnay notes with wild strawberry and fresh fig from Pinot Noir; refined, persistent, lightly acidic fruit on the palate.
