Production Details The cuvée debuted with the 2020 vintage. The 2023 wine was fermented and aged 60% in barrel and 40% in tank. Supplementary release information says the barrels in use originated in high-acid vintages—2002, 2004, 2007, 2008 and 2010—and were selected to avoid tropical character associated with barrels first used in warm years.
Tasting Notes Pink grapefruit, tart orange, chalky soil tones, spring flowers, beeswax and orange peel; deep, full-bodied, crisp and complex, with good mid-palate concentration, sound acidity and a long, poised finish.

Production Details The vineyard is situated on the crest near Premier Cru Butteaux but lies outside the area entitled to use that premier-cru name; “La Butte O” is a play on this location.
