Production Details The 2023 wine came from Roumier's approximately 0.27 ha Aux Mazoyères parcel, whose yield was slightly above 29 hl/ha. The grapes were hand harvested and 75% destemmed. Fermentation was spontaneous; the wine was neither fined nor filtered. Approximately 30% new wood was used, with the balance in barrels two to eight years old.
Tasting Notes William Kelley/Parker note for the 2023 release: raspberries, orange zest, burning embers, spices and violets; medium- to full-bodied, layered and dense, with sweet creamy tannins and a long spicy finish.
