Production Details Fruit came from a 35-year-old, ungrafted, dry-farmed, bush-trained vineyard in Guarilihue, 22 km from the Pacific Ocean. The grapes were hand harvested, destemmed and given a very short cold maceration before native-yeast alcoholic fermentation; total maceration lasted 40 days. The cool site has marked Pacific influence and approximately 700–800 mm annual rainfall.
Tasting Notes Bright, moderately intense ruby; perfumed red and dark cherry aromas with violet and mild spice; fresh and intense palate with ripe red fruit, fresh acidity, soft tannins and a deep, persistent finish.
