Production Details The initial Swartland red blend comprised Shiraz, Grenache, Carignan and Mourvèdre. White-wine components were subsequently added, the wine returned to barrel, and the blend was revisited at six-month intervals. Further varieties were added purely by taste during an 18-month blending journey, producing a once-off 16-component wine. Stone Vine separately described the finished wine as lightly oaked.
Tasting Notes Brambly nose; very ripe raspberry and blackberry flavors with dark chocolate; crisp and energetic, with fresh acidity.
