Oak Aging 11 months
Production Details Tempranillo and Syrah were sourced from sandstone and shale soils in the Cederberg. Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Pontac, Souzao and Touriga Franca came from small parcels in the foothills of Stellenbosch Mountain. Components were vinified separately, fermented naturally in open-top fermenters with some whole-bunch fermentation, then gently pressed and matured for 11 months in 2nd- and 3rd-fill French oak before blending and bottling. Wine of Origin: Western Cape.
