Production Details Fruit comes from a Franschhoek vineyard planted in 1932 by Koos Lotter. The old dryland bush vines are farmed on decomposed granite over sandstone. The grapes were 100% whole bunch, fermented naturally with one punch-down per day, then racked once after malolactic fermentation and kept in third-fill 600L French oak for 10 months. The 2024 vineyard yielded 0.8 tons/ha after weevil pressure following Christmas, and no enzymes or commercial yeast were used.
