Production Details The grapes were handpicked from five blocks on south-facing slopes close to the ocean and protected by a eucalyptus forest. Each block was treated separately in stainless steel tanks and 5000L truncated open-top casks, with a 4-day cold soak before fermentation. The Cabernet Sauvignon component underwent a two-week post-fermentation maceration before a 22-month barrel aging period. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot were matured in 100% new French oak while the additional varieties were matured in second-fill French oak.
