Production Details From a single-vineyard Piekenierskloof site on Paleisheuwel Road, 687m above sea level. Grapes were picked at optimal ripeness, cooled overnight to 4C, destemmed and crushed to an open-top fermenter, with free-run juice removed to another tank. Spontaneous fermentation took place in old French oak barrels and the wine was aged on the lees for 10 months before blending and bottling.
