Production Details The VSP-trellised vineyard is situated at Angels View in central Helderberg. Fruit was picked at optimal ripeness, cooled overnight to 2°C, destemmed into open-top fermenters, fermented spontaneously and retained on skins as long as possible. It was pressed into small French-oak barrels, 40% new, matured in barrel for 18 months, then blended and bottled.
Tasting Notes Ripe black fruit, blackcurrant, Spanish pepper, cedar and oak; full, rich palate with good structure and a long finish.
