Production Details Mourvedre comes from two estate vineyards on the slopes of the Simonsberg, one goblet-pruned and one box-pruned. In the 2021 growing season, a mild spring resulted in below-average yields, good concentration, and even ripeness. During crush the grapes stayed in the press in contact with the skins for one to 1.5 hours, giving the wine its salmon and onion-skin colouration. The wine was fermented naturally in stainless steel tanks and bottled with minimal intervention. Production: 300 cases. Grapes certified organic in conversion by Ecocert ZA-BIO-154.
