Production Details Made from vineyards planted in 1993 and 2016, this wine reflects both the depth of mature vines and the vibrancy of youth. The older blocks bring layered complexity and terroir expression, while the younger vines contribute freshness and precision. Fruit is hand-selected, destemmed, crushed and pressed, with some portions whole-bunch pressed. A total of 11 pickings was done over the course of harvest to craft this wine. Natural fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, followed by 3 months of maturation on the lees to enhance texture and depth. Prior to bottling, 5% of the blend is integrated with barrel-aged Chenin Blanc matured in seasoned oak to add further nuance and complexity.
