Production Details Harvest began on 14 February 2024 after smoke-taint checks confirmed the vineyards were unaffected by nearby wildfires. Fruit from 20+ year old estate vines was separated by clone (113, 115 and 777), destemmed while keeping the berries whole, then fermented by clone in open-top wooden fermenters. Natural fermentation lasted about 14 days, followed by 36 hours of maceration. The free-run was racked to French oak barrels and a 40 hL foudre; press wine was matured separately. The wine spent 11 months on the lees before a final barrel and foudre selection was blended prior to bottling. FSO2 24 mg/L; TSO2 66 mg/L.
