Production Details This wine is from the western part of Elgin, which the producer identifies as the Lake District, where the Palmiet River is dammed to create large bodies of water. The wine was microvinified as a separate batch and rested in barrel for 17 months. A small number of artisanal coopers were selected from Burgundy and the Rhone, with only French oak chosen. In 2020, 80% was new oak and the wine was matured in two 228 litre barrels.
