Production Details Grapes were sourced mainly from the Helderberg area near Stellenbosch. The vineyards were picked later than in previous years following a mild ripening period and unexpected rainfall; the long season produced concentrated fruit at lower alcohol, with fine tannins and good colour extraction.
Tasting Notes Dark and intense; black berries, blueberries, blackberries, ripe plums, graphite, pencil lead, dustiness, oregano, tarragon, sage and bay leaf; fresh chalky palate, supple tannins, vibrant acidity, juicy texture, rosemary and thyme on a plush finish
