Tasting Notes Wine Advocate (Jeb Dunnuck, August 2016): deep, concentrated, full-bodied and layered, with camphor, cured meats, violets, smoke, dark fruits, ripe tannins and a long finish. Vinous (Antonio Galloni, September 2016): rich, seamless and voluptuous, showing red-cherry jam, plum, spice, licorice, pomegranate and new leather.
