Production Details Sustainably farmed grapes were hand harvested. The page reports destemming and crushing, natural primary fermentation, full natural malolactic fermentation, and pump-overs over a floating cap. It separately says “whole-cluster pressed,” which conflicts with the destemming statement and therefore is retained here rather than normalized as a pressing-method claim. The wine matured fourteen months in air-dried American oak: 20% new, 10% one-year-old, 20% two-year-old, 5% three-year-old, and 45% neutral. Sulfur additions are reported as 35 ppm at crush and 184 ppm over aging; these are process additions, not a finished-wine sulfites measurement. The wine was pad filtered at bottling.
Tasting Notes Deep blackberry, black licorice, cappuccino and blood orange; mouth-coating tannins, blue and black fruit, chocolate, pepper and a very long finish
