Production Details Five-day cold soak in open-top fermenters, with hand punchdowns one to three times daily. Free-run wine went directly to barrel; press wine was settled and barrelled separately. The wine spent 11 months in French oak. The producer page lists 40% new, 12% one-year-old, another 33% one-year-old, and 20% two-year-old; the duplicated label and 105% total make the published oak distribution internally inconsistent, so no settled oak-percentage claims are proposed. Production was 280 cases of 750 ml and 48 cases of 1.5 L; 15 of the estate’s 58 barrels were selected for this wine.
Tasting Notes Fresh earth, wild herbs and blackberries; ripe plums, freshness, moderate tannins and balanced acidity.
