Production Details Fruit came from K Block's original 1973 Chardonnay planting, a 14.29-acre parcel whose vines were described as over 47 years old for this bottling. The fruit was hand harvested early and whole-cluster pressed, then matured for 24 months in new 350 L François Frères French-oak barrels with extended sur-lie contact before unfiltered bottling.

Production Details Old-vine K Block fruit was picked early, hand harvested, whole-cluster pressed and entirely barrel fermented. The wine matured for 20 months in new 350 L François Frères French-oak barrels with long-term sur-lie aging and was bottled unfiltered.
