1986 Technical Specifications
Alcohol 11.9%
Grape Varieties 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc
Region Santa Cruz Mountains
Production Details Ridge says the 1986 blend was selected from the remaining wines of its Monte Bello and Schwabacher/Jimsomare properties after the most intense lots were selected for their vineyard-designated Cabernets; some press wine and lighter wine were excluded, and 5% Cabernet Franc was added. The page's separate vineyard field names only Monte Bello, so the precise site composition remains internally inconsistent.
