Production Details Hand harvested. The fermentation lot was 90% crushed fruit with 10% whole-cluster inclusion; whole clusters were placed at the bottom of the tank and crushed fruit layered over them. Stainless-steel fermentation was followed by full malolactic fermentation using naturally occurring malolactic bacteria. The wine remained in stainless steel for one month before bottling in December 2025. Ridge records minimum-effective-sulfur additions as 35 ppm at crush and 50 ppm over the course of aging; these are process additions, not a finished-wine sulfites analysis. The wine was pad filtered at bottling. The growing season included 50 inches of rainfall, mid-May bloom, and a long, cool summer and fall that produced a later harvest.
