Production Details Sustainably farmed, hand-harvested grapes were 100% crushed and fermented in stainless-steel tanks with two pump-overs daily. The wine underwent natural primary and secondary fermentation and full malolactic fermentation on naturally occurring bacteria, then aged fourteen months in 100% air-dried American-oak barrels: 15% new and 85% five-plus-years-old. Minimum-effective sulfur additions were 35 ppm at crush and 118 ppm cumulatively over aging; the wine was pad filtered at bottling. The head-trained, dry-farmed vines were planted in 1934.
Tasting Notes Winemaker MB (June 2026): red currant, ripe raspberry, boysenberry, dried tarragon and clove; medium-bodied, with juicy acidity, supple texture and a long finish.
