Production Details Fruit from Matthiasson Vineyard and Linda Vista Vineyard—blocks on the same soil less than one-quarter mile apart—was picked on the same day and co-fermented. Fermentation took place in a small tank with hand punch-downs and pump-overs two to three times daily, adjusted to the rate of extraction. The wine was aged in one new French-oak Bousset barrel and three older neutral barrels (25% new oak) and bottled after 20 months of élevage. Production was 98 cases. The vineyards use large crossarms that create a pergola-like effect to keep the fruit cool.
