Production Details This was Heitz Cellar's second single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon bottling from Ink Grade Vineyard. Abundant winter rainfall maintained late soil moisture, followed by a long, warm, even summer. Site context: the 745-acre vineyard spans 750–2,100 feet; redwoods create a coastal effect, natural springs flow year-round, and its volcanic soils and varied microclimates produce loose clusters with small berries.
Tasting Notes Bright acidity, firm structure, soft tannins, distinct aromatics, and balanced Howell Mountain fruit.
