Production Details Old-vine, dry-farmed, head-trained fruit was hand-harvested from three Mendocino ranches. The sheet presents overlapping fermentation descriptions: its VINIFICATION section says multiple methods were employed, including whole-cluster and true carbonic fermentation, while its NOTES section calls the treatment 100% carbonic maceration. The tanks were foot-tread; still-fermenting juice was pressed from the skins and transferred to barrel sweet. Lots matured separately in neutral-oak barrels and stainless steel for 10 months before blending and bottling unfined and unfiltered. Production was 872 cases; vineyard yield was 3 tons/acre and harvest Brix ranged from 21 to 22.5°Bx.

After pressing, lots matured separately in neutral-oak barriques, neutral-oak puncheons, and stainless steel for 10 months. Production was 1,479 cases and vineyard yield was reported as 1-3 tons/acre. The sheet is internally inconsistent about sourcing: NOTES and DETAILS identify Casa Verde and describe 100% Carignan, whereas SITE refers generically to a few historic Mendocino ranches at valley-floor and high-elevation locations.
