Production Details The Pioneer block was planted in 1981. Élevage took place in stainless steel for four months; 308 cases were produced.
Tasting Notes Producer notes: honeysuckle, pear, lemon, lime, green-apple skin and minerality, with high acidity, slight balancing sweetness and a long finish. James Suckling (October 2025): lemon confit, green apples, crushed stones, saline character, bright acidity, smooth texture, citrus, pear and a focused mineral finish.

Production Details The Pioneer block was planted in 1981. The wine was aged in stainless steel and made in an off-dry style; 239 cases were produced. The residual-sugar entry on the producer sheet is malformed as “.4.4 g/L” and therefore was not normalized into a numeric residual-sugar claim.
Tasting Notes Paul Gregutt: pronounced underlying minerality, searing tartness despite some residual sugar, laser focus and energetic acidity.
