Barrel Size 500
Used Oak Only Yes
Production Details Vatting/fermentation lasted 21 days in large-format open-top concrete tanks, using pump-overs rather than punch-downs for extraction. The whole-cluster proportion is internally inconsistent: the narrative and cooperage sections say 100% whole-cluster, while the vinification panel says “mostly whole-cluster,” so no settled percentage is proposed. Élevage used 100% neutral 500 L puncheon. Release date was April 1, 2014.
Tasting Notes Confectionary sweetness, powerful grip and white pepper
