Production Details The fruit was harvested as late as possible to achieve full ripeness while balancing its acidity. Both varieties were barrel-fermented at cool temperatures; the wine remained on its lees for about 16 months without racking and was bottled by hand using gravity flow.
Tasting Notes Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate described the 1996 release as dry and full-bodied, with honeyed citrus, rose petals, glycerin-rich texture, chewiness and concentrated extract.
