Production Details The juice was not settled, was fermented with its solids retained as much as possible, and was not racked. Maturation lasted approximately 19 months in 19% concrete eggs, 20% stainless steel, 20% used barrels and 41% new French oak; the new-oak vessels were of varying sizes. Fine Wine Geek reports production of 811 cases.
Tasting Notes Jeb Dunnuck described buttered citrus, stone fruit, marzipan and brioche, with a full-bodied, concentrated and textured palate and bright acidity. Wine Advocate described ripe apricot, pink grapefruit, green mango, candied ginger, honeycomb, allspice and baking bread, with a satiny texture, tropical and stone-fruit layers, savory spice and a long finish.
