Production Details Raven N°2 is the 3-liter bottling/label of the 2006 Raven Series Syrah. A June 2008 pre-bottling note stated that the wine would be bottled after 22 months in oak casks; the August 2009 review subsequently described its maturation as just under two years in French oak.
Tasting Notes Wine Advocate (August 2009): graphite, blackberries, blueberries, charcoal, licorice, tar and new oak; dense, full-bodied and layered. Wine Spectator: blackberry jam, pepper, mineral, sage and chicory.
