Production Details Barrel-fermented and matured on its lees for about 23 months in 64% new French-oak barrels, including puncheons and demi-muids; racked once before bottling. The blend was 85% estate-grown, with 15% Bien Nacido Chardonnay representing the final use of non-estate fruit.
Tasting Notes Jeb Dunnuck (August 2022): caramelized orange, toasted bread, honeyed citrus and almond paste; full-bodied, deep and concentrated. Wine Advocate (May 2022): peach, kiwi, candle smoke, petrol and green herbs; concentrated and savory, with a broad satiny texture, spicy accents and a long finish.
