Vine Age Planted in 1991 and 1994
Fermentation Vessels Stainless-steel and wood fermenters

Production Details Wine-specific production was approximately 60 cases before bottling, from a vineyard yield of 0.58 tons per acre, and the producer explicitly states that this wine contained no whole clusters. Under Littorai’s 2022 Pinot Noir protocol, fruit was normally received at 50–60°F after night harvesting, allowed to warm naturally for native fermentation, worked with punch-downs and pump-overs, generally pressed at dryness without extended maceration, and fermented in stainless-steel or wood. Vineyard-designated Pinot Noirs were aged approximately 14–17 months in approximately 20–25% new wood; they were rarely racked and remained on malolactic, and sometimes primary, lees until bottling.
Tasting Notes Exotic, wild aromas of white pepper, green tea, rhubarb, flowers, nectarine, alpine strawberry, mulberry, redwood needle and morel mushroom. Rich, fresh, long and powerful while remaining elegant.
