Production Details Production was 468 cases. The vineyard yielded 1.8 tons per acre; July heat caused berry shrivel on exposed clusters and loss of as much as one-third of the crop. The site was farmed using organically certified materials but was not certified. Some whole clusters were used, rarely exceeding 50% in a fermenter or bottled wine; the remaining fruit was destemmed but not crushed. Vineyard-designated Pinot Noir was rarely racked, matured on malolactic and sometimes primary lees until bottling, received approximately 20–25% new wood, and remained in barrel for approximately 14–17 months.
Tasting Notes Cherry compote, red licorice, cocoa powder, ripe raspberry, umami, lifted floral perfume, firm tannin backbone, dark and brooding
