The wine spent thirteen months in 100% air-dried American oak barrels that were four, five, or six years old and was pad filtered at bottling. The page reports initial sugar at harvest as 34.2% by volume and residual sugar as 14.2% by volume; these are retained in their stated basis rather than converted to Brix or g/L. Sulfur additions are reported as 35 ppm at crush and 81 ppm over the course of aging, not as a finished-wine sulfites measurement. Bottled only in 375 mL.
Tasting Notes Ridge winemaker TG (January 2023): dark plum, blackberry, black cherry, raspberry compote, clove, sweet oak, crushed rock, black tea, dense and viscous texture, jammy fruit, coating tannins, tart acidity, and a long sweet finish.
