Production Details For the 0.75 L release, grapes came from a 1.6 ha Casa de Vilar vineyard in the Vale do Sousa subregion and were harvested manually in September. Fermentation and 10 months of maturation took place in used French-oak barriques; the wine was bottled in June 2018. Additional finished-wine analysis: dry extract 16.70 g/L, volatile acidity 0.30 g/L, free SO₂ at bottling 15 mg/L and density 0.9900 g/cm³.
Tasting Notes Citrus and floral aromas with tea-leaf, wet-stone and subtle-oak notes; lively, harmonious palate with acidity, minerality and delicate sweetness; long, creamy, complex finish.
Food Pairing Shellfish, delicate fish or mild cheeses; vegetarian pairings include Caesar salad, aubergine and hummus.
