Production Details Platinum Jubilee limited-edition bottling released in April 2022. Taylor’s individually selected and blended wood-aged component wines from its reserves; the wines had matured for decades in seasoned oak casks since Queen Elizabeth II’s accession. Serve slightly chilled at 12–16 °C; no decanting is required, and store the bottle upright, protected from light at a cool, constant temperature.
Tasting Notes Rich mahogany with a pale ochre rim; aromas of cigar box, roasted coffee, pressed rose petals, ginger, heather honey, singed leather, fine oak, five spice and figs; concentrated and fresh on the palate, with anise, marzipan, quince, scorched orange peel, molasses, cardamom and butterscotch.
Food Pairing Desserts featuring figs, almonds or caramel; crème brûlée; wild strawberries; walnuts or dried fruit; it may also be served alone after a meal.
