Production Details This non-vintage release is a blend of old Port wines with an average age of more than forty years. Grapes were foot-trodden and vinified in stainless-steel lagares under temperature control between 25°C and 28°C. The component tawnies spent their entire lives in 640-liter old-oak barrels until the final blend. Finished-wine total sugar is stated as 146 g/dm³; this is retained as total sugar and is not reclassified as residual sugar.
Tasting Notes Light amber; extremely rich and complex nutty bouquet recalling mint and almonds; full-bodied, sweet and rich, with attractive nuttiness and a lingering finish.
