Production Details The grapes come from low-yielding Cima Corgo vineyards with vines over 30 years old, planted at 4,000 vines per hectare and trained using Royat and Guyot systems. They are hand-picked during September/October. The wine is matured in large old oak casks at Niepoort's lodges in Vila Nova de Gaia and bottled at an average age of 3 years.
