The wine matures for seven years in small old oak casks at Niepoort’s Vila Nova de Gaia lodges, where gentle air contact through the wood produces slow oxidation. The structured record additionally reports dry extract 132.70, Baumé 3.80, density 1.0251, total acidity 4.60 and total SO₂ 47, but does not expose the units or the acidity-equivalent basis; those observations are therefore not normalized into analytical columns.
