Production Details Hand-picked fruit was foot-trodden at Vale de Mendiz and fortified with wine spirit. After stabilising over winter, the Port was transferred in spring to a cool part of Quinta de Nápoles and matured for 30 months in traditional 550 L pipas.
Tasting Notes Dark red; blackcurrant, sweet black cherry, spice and violet; firm attack and fresh acidity; dark berries and fine-grained tannins; powerful, dry and silky finish; strong cellaring potential.
