Production Details A non-vintage blend of wines from different harvests, ages and origins. Grapes are hand-picked, destemmed and crushed, then carefully macerated with continuous pumping over during fermentation in stainless steel vats at 28–30°C. Fermentation is stopped at the desired Baumé by adding grape brandy to produce a fortified wine. The components mature in wood for at least seven years. The source describes vineyards reaching up to 600 metres. Recommended serving temperature is 12–14°C; bottles should be stored upright in a cool, dry, dark place and consumed within four to six months after opening.
Tasting Notes Brown with a golden rim; powerful, rich bouquet with subtle vanilla; complex and balanced palate with a fine finish
Food Pairing Light, fragrant desserts such as pumpkin millefeuille with almond sorbet, banana and blueberry muffins, or pear and honey tartlets
