Production Details Vines are 60–100 years old, planted at 6,000 vines/ha between 350 and 700 m and Guyot trained. Grapes were hand-picked in September, vinified as whole bunches and macerated for approximately two weeks in a wooden fermentation vat. Malolactic fermentation occurred in a large wooden vat. After pressing, the wine aged for 12 months in old wooden barrels and was bottled in February 2025. Supplementary finished-wine data: dry extract 25.80 g/dm³, volatile acidity 0.70 g/dm³, free SO₂ at bottling 15 mg/dm³, density 0.9910 g/cm³, energy 325 kJ/100 mL and carbohydrates 0.9 g/100 mL.
Tasting Notes Deep yet vivid colour; violet, bergamot, fresh cherry, graphite and cool earth; linear, composed palate with integrated acidity, rounded texture, taut fruit and subtle spice; long finish

Finished-wine supplementary analysis: dry extract 24.20 g/dm³, volatile acidity 0.60 g/dm³, free SO₂ at bottling 17 mg/dm³ and density 0.9910 g/cm³. At Quinta de Nápoles, the producer reports overall 2021 yields 50% above the preceding year and an overall harvest beginning on 11 August; those observations are not presented as this vineyard's yield or complete picking dates.
Tasting Notes Pale bright red with purple glints; cherry, rhubarb, fresh herbs, spices, floral nuances, subtle smoke and graphite; elegant structure, freshness and acidity; long, almost spicy finish
