Production Details Fruit came from Quinta de Baixo on a hillside near the ocean, from vines stated to be 50–60 years old and planted at 2,500 vines/ha on clay-limestone soil. Irrigation was not used and the farming regime is described as 'raisonnée'. Whole berries underwent fermentation and skin maceration for one month in stainless steel, followed by malolactic fermentation and five years of maturation in stainless steel. The recommended serving range is 10–12°C.
Tasting Notes Pale yellow; pronounced mineral character with orange-blossom aromas; lively acidity; fresh, complex, very fine and elegant; finely bitter, deeply mineral finish.
